Job summary

Willow Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, part of the Alliance Health Group family, is seeking a Weekend RN/LPN Supervisor to lead the nursing team on weekend shifts.

This role provides clinical leadership, ensures safe, compassionate resident care, supports staff, and helps with scheduling, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in North Carolina.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and support a nursing team.
• Dependable and able to work independently.
• Compassionate, professional, and resident-focused approach.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and supporting nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and leadership to nursing staff during weekend shifts
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate care is provided
• Assess residents and communicate changes in condition to physicians, providers, and clinical leadership
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with orders, policies, and nursing standards
• Review and ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support the implementation and evaluation of individualized resident care plans
• Assist nursing staff with clinical questions, concerns, and resident care needs
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Assist with staffing and scheduling needs as necessary
• Support the onboarding, training, and development of nursing staff
• Address staffing, resident, and operational concerns that arise during weekend shifts
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and provide after-hours support as assigned
• Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented nursing environment
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations

About the Role

As a Weekend RN/LPN Supervisor, you will provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team during weekend shifts. You will help ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care while supporting nursing staff and addressing clinical and operational needs.
