Job summary

BrightStar Care of Longview/Kilgore seeks an RN or LVN to provide skilled home health and infusion nursing across Longview, Kilgore, and East Texas. You will deliver care per an individualized Plan of Care and collaborate with families and our clinical team.

This role offers weekly pay, paid orientation, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team. You will perform wound care, lab draws, PICC care, and infusion therapies while maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LVN license in Texas.
• 2–5 years infusion experience preferred.
• Infusion therapy experience preferred.
• Wound care and PICC care experience.
• CPR/BLS certification and up-to-date TB test or chest X‑ray.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled home health and private‑duty nursing per each patient’s Plan of Care.
• Perform nursing services within the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
• Deliver infusion therapy and other skilled services as assigned.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient education.
• Travel to patient locations across Longview, Kilgore, and East Texas.

As an RN/LVN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes while working closely with patients, families, and our clinical team.

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled home health and private-duty nursing services according to each patient's individualized Plan of Care.
• Perform nursing services within the scope of the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
• Provide specialized nursing care, including infusion therapy and other skilled services as assigned.
• Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report changes to the appropriate clinical personnel.
• Perform wound care, lab draws, PICC care, and other skilled nursing procedures within your scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Educate and support patients and families regarding their healthcare and nursing needs.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
• Ensure the quality and adequacy of services provided.
• Provide both patient visits and shifts based on client needs and your availability.
• Travel to patient locations throughout the Longview, Kilgore, and surrounding East Texas areas.

What You'll Need

• Current, unrestricted RN or LVN license in the state of Texas.
• 2-5 years of infusion experience preferred.
• Infusion therapy experience strongly preferred.
• Wound care experience.
• Lab draw and PICC care experience.Port experience is a plus.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Recent TB test or chest X-ray, within the last year.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to pass required state and federal background checks.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Willingness to travel to patient locations as assigned.
