Each RN/LPN, regardless of title, enhances the living experience for Tabitha’s Seniors/residents/clients ("Seniors/clients") by performing various prescribed medical treatment and personal care services under the direction of the physician supporting the medical plan of care and meeting the written comprehensive care plan objectives. They operate within their scope of practice and contribute to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of elders/clients through respectful, professional, and personable interaction. This TEAMember upholds Tabitha’s LIVE2Care Culture and Core Values, supporting elders' dignity, respect, independence, and safety. They collaborate with family, coworkers, management, volunteers, and others to ensure quality care.
Must be fluent in English, including medical terminology, able to understand and follow instructions, interact effectively with elders, families, and team members, and document accurately. Ability to interpret non-verbal cues and respond calmly in emergencies is essential.
Ability to perform duties safely using standard and specialized equipment, with the stamina to move throughout the shift, lift and reposition patients, and handle physical tasks. Must pass a 50-pound strength and agility exam.
At least 18 years old.
Successful completion of RN or LPN training; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
6 months RN or LPN experience preferred.
Valid RN or LPN license in Nebraska or a Nurse Compact state, CPR certification, and compliance with vaccination requirements.
