Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan is responsible for delivering individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, from assessment through evaluation.

Collaborating with residents, families and an interdisciplinary team, you coordinate care, perform resident assessments, educate on health topics, and may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license and multistate licensure if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
