Mercy in St. Louis, MO is seeking an LPN to provide patient care under supervision, using the nursing process and maintaining patient rights. The role requires licensure and completion of a practical nursing program, with potential consideration for equivalent education and licensing.
Responsibilities include coordinating care with other departments and ensuring confidentiality and professional accountability throughout the shift.
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
