Join to apply for the RN/LPN Hospice House/IPU (FT Nights) role at Ohio's Hospice

Position Details
  • This is a full-time night position serving our Troy Hospice House, with floating to the Dayton Hospice House as needed.
  • Shifts are from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with every third weekend and every other holiday required.
  • We provide superior care and services to patients at their end of life. A heart for hospice is essential for success.
Responsibilities

Plan and deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Qualifications
  • RN: Graduate of an accredited nursing school; ASN or BSN preferred. Active Ohio RN license without board actions. Two years of acute care experience preferred.
  • LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse in Ohio with IV and medication certification preferred; one year nursing experience preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) certification preferred, to be obtained within two years of employment.
  • Computer skills for documentation.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and automobile insurance.
