Job summary

Music City Detox is seeking a compassionate RN/LPN in Tennessee to provide clinical care for clients, including medication administration, vital signs, and assessments.

You will assist with admissions and discharges, document observations, collaborate with the medical team, maintain a safe environment, and participate in trainings. HIPAA compliance and confidentiality are required.

This role emphasizes engagement in treatment and respectful interaction with individuals in recovery.

Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted licensure in TN.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies and directions, and present information effectively, both orally and written.
  • Ability to work with chemically dependent and individuals in psychiatric care in a non-judgmental, compassionate fashion.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions from a wide variety of data and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Experience working with people in recovery and/or in mental health treatment a plus

  • Follows all policies and procedures with regard to client information protection, including alcohol-drug client confidentiality and HIPAA
  • Other duties as assigned
