Job description

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Delivery and administration of nursing care as directed by physician orders, regulations and standards of practice to meet the needs of the residents. Continually evaluate nursing care in the daily delivery of care to assure optimal results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must hold and maintain current license as Licensed Practical Nurse in practicing state. License must be in good standing.
  2. Demonstrates understanding of state and federal rules and regulations that govern the practices of the facility.
  3. Must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
  4. Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families to work cooperatively with others.
  5. Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-employment physical exam, if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigations, and reference inquiry.
  6. Must maintain regular attendance on the job.
  7. Must be able to perform the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must have a valid LPN or RN license in the State of Ohio.

Must be able to pass an FBI & BCI background check.

Must be able to pass an employee physical.
