Job Summary

The Registered Nurse or LPN at Prevea plays a crucial role as an integral member of our clinic team, delivering patient-centered care. Responsibilities include triaging calls, assessing needs, providing advice, facilitating appointments, and providing direct patient care as needed. The role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality care within the scope of practice as defined by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing and Prevea's policies.

What you will do
  1. Manage patient/family concerns through telephone triage and consultation.
  2. Assess needs and offer appropriate clinical options, referring to healthcare providers and community resources as needed.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans.
  4. Conduct follow-up calls, provide test results, health counseling, and education.
  5. Provide direct patient care including rooming patients, obtaining medical information, initial assessments, and maintaining records.
  6. Assist physicians or advanced practice providers with procedures and ensure instructions are carried out.
  7. Administer medications and communicate with patients and staff to ensure continuity of care.
Education Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
Skills and Abilities

Skilled in establishing rapport, medical judgment, and effective communication.
