OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to care for residents and lead nursing staff in a skilled nursing facility. The nurse will develop care plans and coordinate with physicians, therapists, and aides while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, medication administration records, and collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize resident well-being in a supportive facility environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN or LPN program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred, not required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care in a clean, safe environment.
• Makes nursing diagnoses to guide care strategy.
• Collaborates with resident and healthcare team.
• Records administration of medications and changes in condition.
• Monitors staff to follow safety regulations and state/government rules.
• Follows procedures for nursing equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as directed.
