Job summary

Friendship Village in St. Louis is seeking a full-time RN/LPN to deliver high-quality geriatric nursing care. This role emphasizes compassionate patient-focused service within a vibrant senior living community.

You will be responsible for medication administration, coordination of daily nursing duties, and ensuring compliant documentation while collaborating with doctors, residents, and families. Excellent patient care and teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Active applicable state nursing license.
• At least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with restorative nursing helpful.
• Thorough knowledge of best nursing practices and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document promptly.
• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing staff on assigned shifts.
• Coordinate daily administrative duties, including schedules, assignments, and patient care.
• Oversee resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Monitor medical charts and provide compassionate care to patients and families.
• Liaise with doctors, families, and administrators regarding changes in resident conditions.
• Ensure clinical documentation is accurate and compliant with policies and regulations.
• Provide and receive shift reports.
