Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking experienced 1:1 School Nurses to provide dedicated medical support to second-grade students with medically complex needs in Illinois. Responsibilities include G-tube feeding, seizure monitoring, medication administration, mobility support, and ongoing health and safety monitoring during the school day.

Ideal candidates hold an Illinois RN or LPN license, pediatric experience, CPR, and at least 1 year of experience with feeding tubes or tracheostomy care.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license valid in Illinois
• Pediatric care experience required
• CPR certification required
• Minimum 1 year experience with feeding tubes, tracheostomy care, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe 1:1 skilled nursing care adhering to nursing standards.
• Locations available throughout the city.
• Administer medications as ordered by licensed subscriber and assist with management of special health care needs.
• Accompany students to and from school on the bus to provide medical needs.
• Ensures ongoing communication with care providers and appropriate school staff, and proper documentation of daily care.
• Maintains professional knowledge through ongoing educational opportunities.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S POSITION:

The client is seeking experienced 1:1 School Nurses to provide dedicated nursing support to second-grade students with medically complex needs. Responsibilities may include G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring and response, medication administration, mobility/wheelchair support, and ongoing health and safety monitoring while allowing the student to participate safely in the school day.

DESCRIPTION OF CLIENT'S DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide safe 1:1 skilled care adhering to nursing standards.
• Locations available throughout the city.
• Administer medications as ordered by licensed subscriber and assist with management of special health care needs.
• Accompany students to and from school on the bus to provide medical needs.
• Ensures ongoing communication with care providers and appropriate school staff as well as proper documentation of daily care of the student.
• Maintains professional knowledge through ongoing educational opportunities.
• Observe the physical and mental development of students.
• Administer medications as ordered by licensed subscriber and assist with management of special health care needs.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• RN or LPN licensein in the state of Illinois
• Pediatric Experience
• CPR
• Minimum 1 Year Experience with feeding tubes, tracheostomy care, etc.
