Job summary

CareFinders Total Care is seeking compassionate RN and LPN nurses to provide 1:1 pediatric home health care in Hunterdon, NJ. Roles offer flexible shifts with pay ranges: LPN $35–$36/hr and RN $45–$46/hr, supporting children with autism, seizures, feeding tubes, and other complex needs.

Responsibilities include nursing care, medication administration, seizure monitoring, mobility assistance, and detailed documentation. Training and ongoing support are provided to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in state of practice.
• Willingness to work in Hunterdon, NJ.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/BLS certification current or willingness to obtain.
• Comfort with developmental and complex medical needs in children.
• New graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care to children in their homes.
• Monitor health, safety, and overall condition of the child.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Provide seizure monitoring and responsive care when needed.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, feeding, and daily care needs.
• Monitor feeding tubes and medical equipment as applicable.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and care records.
• Communicate changes with parents, caregivers, and care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and physician orders.
• Provide comfort and age-appropriate engagement during shifts.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for the child.

Day Shift: Saturday & Sunday 8am-12pm
Additional day, evening & overnight shifts as well.

CareFinders Total Care is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric care in the home and community.

Work directly with children who may have autism, seizure disorders, developmental delays, feeding tubes, or other complex medical needs - providing skilled nursing care, support, and comfort that makes a meaningful difference for children and their families.

Job Requirements:

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of practice
• Willingness to work in Hunterdon
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required

• Comfortable caring for children with developmental and complex medical needs

What You'll Do:

• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered
• Provide seizure monitoring and response, with training available as needed
• Assist with mobility, positioning, feeding, and other daily care needs
• Monitor and assist with feeding tubes and other medical equipment as applicable
• Complete accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, and required care records
• Communicate changes in condition, concerns, and updates with parents, caregivers, and the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and physician orders
• Provide comfort, reassurance, and age-appropriate engagement throughout the shift
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for the child
