• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal long-term care regulations.

Aufgaben

• Ordering medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed.
• Administering treatments/medications as ordered by the physician.
• Notifying physician and/or family when there is a change in the resident's condition.
• Providing nursing procedures such as tube feedings, suction, catheterization, dressings and irrigations.
• Continuously observing and monitoring seriously ill residents.
• Advocating for the patient and ensuring care aligns with the care plan.
• Completing charting accurately and promptly.
