Job summary

Good Samaritan in Manson, IA is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing care to residents following the nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care in a Christian environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, resident assessment, education and other nursing interventions; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed or unlicensed personnel as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks as appropriate.
