Job summary

Park Avenue Healthcare & Wellness Centre is seeking a licensed RN to provide care in a long-term care setting under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services. The role includes assessment, planning, and evaluation of resident care, with a $1.00 shift differential for 3pm–11pm and 11pm–7:00am shifts.

Responsibilities include admissions, rounds, medication administration, documentation, and supervising CNAs.

Qualifications

• RN degree or diploma from an accredited program.
• Active nursing license in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficient English communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per physician orders following standards of practice.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents per policy; orient new residents/families.
• Conduct daily rounds and assess medical and emotional status; adjust care plan accordingly.
• Document care accurately and timely in the medical record; update plans of care as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor responses; ensure safe narcotics handling.
• Supervise CNAs and participate in meetings and QA activities.
