Job summary
King David Center for Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY. The role involves direct patient care and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to support residents’ health and comfort.

Qualifications
- Valid, current RN license
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures, long-term care laws/regulations
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
- COVID-19 vaccination
Responsibilities
- Admin tasks and reporting to the Director and staff
- Prepare for new admissions, transfers and discharges
- Consult with residents, families, and physicians in care planning
- Monitor residents' condition and report changes
- Ensure staff qualifications for procedures
- Oversee medication administration and treatment schedules
- Maintain clean and safe nursing areas
- Maintain adequate stock of medications and supplies
- Communicate across departments to address residents' needs
- Perform RN scope-of-practice duties as needed
- Provide direct nursing care when required
