Signature HealthCARE of Parkwood is hiring a licensed RN to join our skilled nursing team in Sheridan, Indiana. You will deliver direct nursing care, assist with ADLs, and help supervise nursing staff on your shift, ensuring safety, accuracy, and compassionate care for residents.

The position requires an active RN license in Indiana, CPR/BLS certification preferred, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience, with long-term care and supervisory experience valued.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with ADLs while ensuring comfort, dignity and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during shifts.
• Monitor residents’ status and communicate changes to physician.
• Develop and review individualized resident care plans with the team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in QA activities, staff education, and surveys.
