RN – Long Term Care – Child Center at Providence Health and Services

Registered Nurse at Providence Child Center providing direct and indirect quality care tailored to the individual needs of long-term care pediatric residents. Responsibilities include coordinating care activities with healthcare team members and supervising nursing care, ensuring compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and professional standards. The role supports professional development within a patient-focused environment dedicated to whole-person care and community well-being. Accountable for direct and indirect quality care for resident, according to the individualized needs of the resident, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Accepts professional development as an integral part of nursing practice. Coordinates resident care activities with other members of the health care team, and supervises the nursing care given.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience in long term care.
