Job summary

This temporary assignment supports the ED during peak demand and ensures quality patient care across shifts. Must hold Louisiana RN licensure with LSBN and current AHA BLS; ACLS, CPI, and PALS are required, with new grads needing to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• TNCC (CHNOLA and UMC ERs only) ENPC can substitute for PALS at UMC or EJMC ERs.

The RN Limited Assignment is a temporary position serving approximately 13 weeks as an RN for the facility. This position assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on the standards of care and the policies of LCMC Health. The RN delegates to professional and non-professional personnel involved in the delivery of care.

Must-Haves Minimum

• Current nursing license to practice in the state of Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current ACLS, CPI and PALS certifications. (New grad must obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Current TNCC (CHNOLA and UMC ERs only) ENPC (can be substitute for PALS at UMC or EJMC ERs)

Preferred: Emergency Room experience and ER nursing knowledge.
