Ochsner Health in New Orleans is seeking an experienced registered nurse leader to deliver patient care using the nursing process within established standards. You will delegate and support licensed and ancillary team members while upholding quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license and have graduated from an accredited nursing program; BLS certification is required. Strong communication, organization, and cultural sensitivity are essential in this role.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty area.

Responsabilidades

• Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and applies teaching strategies for diverse patients and families.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources within the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data and knowledge to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
• Supports patient satisfaction and staff morale; shows professional accountability.
• Adapts interactions to patient population while maintaining privacy and clear communication.
• Performs other related duties as required.
