Job summary

Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary, LA is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee day-to-day nursing operations under the supervision of the Director/House Supervisor and Charge Nurse.

You will ensure delivery of high-quality patient care by coordinating assigned personnel, applying the Nursing Process, and maintaining compliance with licensure and certification requirements (BLS, ACLS, PALS).

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the State of Louisiana or have privilege to practice with license in primary state of residence.
• One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS within one year of employment
• PALS within 6 months of orientation for Emergency Room, ICU, Med-Surg/Telemetry departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day functions of assigned personnel to ensure nursing care is provided per job description and competencies.
• Manage the care of patients by direct caregiving or supervising other nursing personnel using the Nursing Process.
