Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in nursing with RN license and BLS certification.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families and care teams.
• Proficiency with computers, software and web-based applications; ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and adapts teaching strategies for diverse patients and families.
• Leads and delegates within the nursing team and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data and knowledge to evaluate care and drive improvements in outcomes.
• Supports patient privacy, diversity and professional ethics in all interactions.
• Works to align with unit and department goals and demonstrates accountability for practice.
