Job summary

You will provide leadership on an interdisciplinary team, supervise and delegate nursing tasks, and participate in safety and quality initiatives. Current PA RN license or eNLC, CPR, and background clearances are required.

Qualifications

• PA RN license (or eNLC) required.
• CPR certification required.
• Clearance certificates: Act 34, Act 33, Act 73 FBI fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
• Supervise, delegate, and evaluate assigned LPN scope of practice.
• Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
• Utilize the nursing process to develop patient care plans.
• Analyze health status of individuals and families to determine care needs.
• Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
• Promote compassionate communication that is patient and family-centered.
