Job summary

DCH Health System in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to plan, coordinate, and direct high-quality, compassionate care. You will supervise LPNs, PCAs, and other staff, ensuring adherence to standards and safety.

The role requires strong clinical assessment, education delivery, and coordination with multiple disciplines to achieve patient-centered outcomes. A BSN is preferred, with BLS/ACLS competencies and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Alabama or multi-state license
• BLS provider training required (AHA/Red Cross)
• BSN preferred, minimum Associates
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and directs quality, compassionate care.
• Supervises licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Assess patient conditions on admission and continuously.
• Document observations and care plans accurately.
• Provide handoff reports and participate in unit huddles.
• Assist PI activities and implement improvements.
• Perform competency checks per job class.
