Job summary

Riverwood Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of healthcare professionals. The RN will supervise nursing personnel and oversee daily nursing activities during assigned shifts, ensuring care meets professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; current RN license in the state of employment.
• Peripheral IV certification.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience.
• One year of management experience (preferred).
• One year of geriatrics or subacute care experience.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• English communication skills; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns and improve services.
• Identify problems or potential issues in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
• Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Assist in developing methods to coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
