Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (Preferred).
• RN license in state of practice (Required); BLS (Required); ACLS/PALS (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Leads administrative efforts for clinicians such as staffing, scheduling, ordering medication, and staff evaluations.
• Organizes and implements interventions to promote patient safety and meet patient needs within the continuum of care.
• Delivers care based on patient age and clinical criteria per nursing standards.
• Participates in activities to evaluate or improve patient and financial outcomes.
• Ensures cross-training of employees and optimal staff utilization across shifts.
• Maintains professional development and credentials for nursing staff.
• Coordinates clinical operations and provides input to management for budgets and resources.
• Adapts communication and care to diverse patient populations and maintains privacy.
