Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Current CPR Certification is required
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents; provide reports and leadership.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain confidentiality and chart nursing notes with resident responses.
• Perform routine charting and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Assist with rounds with physicians and coordinate care across departments.
