Atlas MedStaff seeks an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Durango, CO. You will cover 12-hour night shifts in a busy Birth Center, delivering comprehensive LDRP care for about 70 deliveries per month.

This position offers the chance to be integral to a busy Birth Center averaging around 70 deliveries per month, conducting all phases of labor and postpartum care within a comprehensive LDRP setting. You’ll handle responsibilities including titrating drips like oxytocin, monitoring fetal and maternal status, and collaborating with a dedicated team of nurses, nurse aids, and anesthesia providers. Experience with maternal diagnoses such as hypertension, pre-eclampsia, and preterm labor is essential. The unit features modern tele monitor systems, and your expertise in fetal monitoring and labor support will be vital. Travel through this role is a hands-on opportunity to deepen your maternal nursing skills while working in a supportive environment with flexible scheduling options and on-call shifts, all within a beautiful Colorado setting.
