Job summary

Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City, AR is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the Women’s Services unit. Evaluate patients, assist physicians, and document nursing care during shifts.

Requires Arkansas RN licensure, an associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), and at least one year of Women’s Services experience. 12-hour shifts, on-site with a premium PRN differential applied to base pay.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensure to work in Arkansas.
• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one year Women's Services experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement and document nursing care.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within RN scope.
• Promote patients' independence by teaching care goals to patients and families.
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Perform a variety of tasks as needed.
