Job summary

Bell Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery. The role includes Nights - Full Time and Weekend Nights - Part Time, delivering patient-centered care in a high-acuity setting with close coordination among the care team.

The nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, while collaborating with patients, families and staff to ensure safe, quality outcomes. Licensure, ADN with BSN timeline, and BLS are required, with 6 months to 2 years of experience

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) - BSN due within five years for ADN hires after 2017.
• 6 months to 2 years of nursing experience as a Clinical Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care through assessment, documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Carries out a unit-specific care plan for the target patient population.
• Coordinates care delivery and education with patient, family and health care team members.
• Follows organizational policies to provide safe patient care.
• Maintains required clinical and technical competencies for the assigned unit.
