Texas Health Resources in Denton is seeking a Registered Nurse on the Labor and Delivery unit for PRN night shifts. You will deliver care to obstetric patients using the Nursing Process, assess needs, plan care, and respond to changes quickly to ensure safety.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), an active RN license, and BCLS/ACLS within set timelines, plus IFM/NRP/NRPA training.

Qualifikationen

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days of hire
• IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 Months Req
• NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days of hire
• NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days of hire
• 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse Req
• At least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience strongly preferred

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Assesses the patient
• Plans the care of the patient
• Intervenes as appropriate
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
