Job summary

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas is seeking a registered nurse to join the Maternal Child Health team, delivering patient-centered care for labor, delivery, postpartum and newborns. The role emphasizes collaboration, clinical excellence and compassionate support within a highly regarded hospital campus.

Qualified candidates will have 1+ year postpartum and L&D experience, a CA RN license, BLS, NRP, and fetal heart monitoring certification.

Qualifications

• Postpartum and Labor & Delivery experience in an Acute Care hospital.
• Current CA RN License and BLS/NRP certifications.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice for maternal/newborn patients.
• Assess, plan and implement care; evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Supervise and coordinate with the care team as assigned.
