Job summary
AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our critical care team on a part-time basis. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and collaborate with physicians and specialists to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), active RN license, BLS, and experience with Cerner or EPIC EMR.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
- Active RN license and BLS required.
- Familiarity with Cerner or EPIC EMR preferred.
- Experience in critical care settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Monitor responses and adjust care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care.
- Document in EMR accurately.
- Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.
