Job summary
ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN for the Abington, PA area. This contract role features day shifts (07:00–19:30) on a 3x12‑hour schedule, with every third weekend required, and a fast-paced obstetric unit. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of L&D experience, a BSN, and active RN license, plus NRP, ACLS and BLS certifications.
AWHONN certification is also preferred. ARMStaffing provides health benefits, onboarding support, clinical 1:1 support, a 401k plan with match,
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Valid RN license.
- NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
- BSN is mandatory.
- AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal conditions.
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and engage in postpartum care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and families on childbirth preparation and postpartum care.
