Job summary

Eastside Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a staff nurse for a 13-bed obstetrics unit with 24/7 hospitalist coverage. The role supports laboring, antepartum and postpartum patients, delivering patient-centered care in a team-based environment.

The staff nurse will use nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, uphold practices, and coordinate activities across the care team while pursuing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited nursing school (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible (Required).
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability within organizational policies.
