Job Title

RN Labor and Delivery (WA Days or Nights) at Amergis Healthcare Staffing

Job Overview

The Labor and Delivery nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care in the L&D setting. The nurse demonstrates clinical judgment, assists mothers during the final stages of pregnancy, monitors vital signs, and addresses potential complications. Responsibilities include patient education, psychosocial support, and coordination of care, adhering to nursing standards.

Licenses and Experience

• WA RN License or Compact License
• Minimum 3+ years of Labor & Delivery experience

Specific Requirements

• Magnesium drip experience
• C-Section Circulation experience
• Comfortable floating to postpartum and other units as needed
• NIHSS, BLS certifications
• COVID vaccine no longer required

Additional Conditions

• No RTO within first 7 days of employment
• Limited RTO requests; willingness to work holidays
• Work on an alternate work week schedule (Mon-Sun)

Compensation and Benefits

• Local Pay: $75/hr
• Total Weekly Gross: $3,112
• Shift: 12-hour days or nights, 36 hours/week
• Start date options: 5/19 or 6/2
• Housing stipend: $1,000 + housing allowance
• Additional benefits include health insurance, 401(k), recognition programs, and weekly paychecks.

Minimum Requirements

• Current RN license in Washington
• One year of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• Current CPR, TB testing, and health certification
