Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an experienced RN Labor and Delivery Supervisor to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of unit operations during the shift. The CNC collaborates with leadership to monitor nursing care and staff performance.

The role requires active RN licensure in TX (or compact) with L&D experience, ACLS/BCLS, neonatal resuscitation, and fetal monitoring expertise to support safe obstetric services and exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications required.
• RN license in TX or compact license.
• BSN preferred; if not, RN Diploma required with BSN within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise nursing care in L&D during the shift.
• Direct, monitor, and evaluate patient care according to policies.
• Serve as a resource for staff and align with hospital mission and quality goals.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) or Nurse Supervisor ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

1+ years of Recent applicable experience in L&D Required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must Required
• Neonate Resuscitate Required
• (RN) Registered Nurse in TX or holds a compact license
• Associate Degree Required BSN Preferred- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required- BSN must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring, or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
