Responsibilities

Position Summary: Develops, implements, evaluates, and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families while promoting Vibra Travels' mission and values. The care includes direct care and delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality, establishing professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling hospital responsibilities, and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides, and Techs.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, though this may vary by client and setting.
  • Current, valid, and active RN license in the state of employment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
  • Recent acute care experience.
Certificates, Licensures, Registrations
  • Active RN license in the state of employment.
  • BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor; AHA preferred and required by some clients.
  • Additional certifications like ACLS, NRP, PALS, RNC-OB, C-EFM, RNC-MNN may be required by Vibra Travels and/or clients.
