Qualifications Needed:
  • Education/Skills: Associate’s degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred and must be obtained within 3 years. Ability to perform as a scrub tech during delivery within 1 year. Professional Nursing Organization membership encouraged.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years preferred.
  • Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications: RN license valid in Texas; BLS from an HCA-approved vendor; NRP and ACLS within first 90 days; C-EFM certification within 6 months of eligibility; AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring required until C-EFM eligibility.
