Job summary

UnityPoint Health in Madison, WI is hiring a Registered Nurse for 30 hours per week on the night shift. The RN provides direct and indirect patient care, assesses and plans care, and collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements include a BSN (or equivalent), current Wisconsin RN licensure, CPR certification or eligibility within 3 months, and availability for two weeks of orientation on the day shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program with BSN or equivalent; other nursing degrees may be considered.
• Current Wisconsin RN license is required.
• CPR certification or eligible to complete within 3 months of hire.
• Must be available for orientation during the first two weeks on day shift.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care per hospital policies and standards.
• Direct and indirect care of patients; supervise delegated nursing acts; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team.

The Registered Nurse performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation of an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols and care standards. The RN is responsible for direct and indirect care of patients through the supervision of select delegated nursing acts and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

Education:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Will consider other nursing degrees on an individual basis

Certification/License:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
