Job summary

UnityPoint Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse for part-time (0.6 FTE) with PM and/or night shifts and weekend/holiday rotation. Compensation is $43.89/hr with 24–36 hours per week depending on position availability. The RN will perform patient care, assess and plan care, and collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.

Orientation requires first two weeks on day shift. Requirements include BSN (or higher), current WI RN licensure, CPR certification or eligibility

Qualifications

• ER RN experience required.
• BSN or higher nursing degree preferred; other nursing degrees may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care per nursing standards and hospital policy.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise delegated nursing acts to support care continuity.

The Registered Nurse performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation of an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care according to hospital polices, procedures, protocols and care standards. The RN is responsible for direct and indirect care of patients through the supervision of select delegated nursing acts and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.

Education:

• Graduate of Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN). Will consider other nursing degrees on an individual basis

License/Certifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin Current
• CPR certification or eligible to complete within 3 months of hire

Experience:

• ER RN experience

Must be available the first 2 weeks of employment on the day shift to attend orientation
