About the Role: The Labor and Delivery nurse is responsible for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care in the L&D setting. The nurse makes clinical judgments effectively and efficiently under supervision, assisting mothers during the final stages of pregnancy, monitoring vital signs, and recognizing signs of complications. The role involves patient education, addressing psychosocial needs post-delivery, and coordinating patient care according to nursing standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• One year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience preferred within the last three years.
• Current CPR certification, TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, and health certificate as per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
