Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Florida seeks a dynamic Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide compassionate obstetric care within our patient-centered model. You will collect comprehensive data, advocate for patients, participate in routine deliveries and cesarean sections, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
• Evaluate the obstetrical patient for any situation that may compromise the well-being of mother and fetus
• Participate in routine delivery as well as planned or emergent Cesarean Sections
• Act as an advocate for patient safety
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay

Job Summary

We areseeking a dynamicLabor & DeliveryRN to join ourteam.We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment toobstetric patientsin our patient centered care model. WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• Acute care experience required
