Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Travel RN - Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced maternity setting. This role offers night shifts, 12 hours each, totaling about 36 hours per week.

You will deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns, supporting families and maintaining strict documentation standards. Qualified candidates hold an RN license in Louisiana (or eligibility) with at least 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery, and current BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program (Diploma in Nursing required).
• Active RN license in Louisiana or eligibility to practice.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications; CPI within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions.
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond to clinical changes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and post-delivery care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced maternity setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions.
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond appropriately to clinical changes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and post-delivery care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (Diploma in Nursing required).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana or eligibility to practice.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience.

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (must be submitted with profile)
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification (required within 12 months of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Specialty certification in Labor & Delivery, Maternal-Child, or related nursing specialty.
