Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations.
• TX RN license required.
• CPR within 14 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 6 months.
• Stable Program within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform admission and ongoing patient assessments and notify changes to the physician.
• Design, direct, and document the plan of care and discharge goals with the team.
• Prepare patients for procedures and inform physicians of significant changes.
• Reassess patients after interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Provide bedside shift reports ensuring continuity of care to next nurse.
• Maintain a safe environment and promptly address safety concerns.
