Job summary

Universal Health Services, located in Aiken Regional Medical Centers, South Carolina, is seeking an RN for L&D on the Night shift. The role provides comprehensive postpartum care, leadership to the nursing team, and coordination of patient plans in a high-level acute care setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, 1–2 years postpartum experience, SC nursing license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS (CPI within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• 1 to 2 years experience in Postpartum care.
• Current South Carolina nursing license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (upon hire). CPI (within 6 months)

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Patient Centered Care as the foundation for nursing care.
• Demonstrates service excellence in all interactions.
• Assumes role of team member, charge nurse, or team leader as needed.
• Performs thorough assessments and develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans.
• Participates in bedside report and communicates effectively with patient and family.
