Base pay range

$60.25/yr - $62.25/yr

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Newton, MA.

Job Function

• Night Shift.
• 3x12: 7:15pm - 7:15am.
• Applies external fetal monitors and interprets fetal heart tracings and uterine activity.
• Implements appropriate interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status during labor.
• Identifies emergency situations and promptly notifies the provider, considering patient age and condition.
• Assists physicians or midwives during deliveries.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Fetal Monitoring Certificate preferred.
