Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse in Arizona. The role requires at least 24 months of recent L&D experience, strong perinatal knowledge, and Cerner proficiency. You must be flexible with location, shifts, and departments to secure an offer, with background checks and documentation protocols to follow.

The position entails 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts, 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed, with potential weekend/holiday rotation. Travel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Current Arizona licensure with no state license hits.
• Life support certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS and AFM from approved vendors.
• Driver’s License for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health and respond to changes in conditions.
• Assist with medical procedures and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Cerner.
• Educate patients and families on care and post-delivery instructions.

Job Description
