Overview

Under the general supervision of the Nursing Director or Assistant Nursing Director provides direct nursing care to patients.

Full‑Time

7am – 7:30pm

Responsibilities

• 1.* Incorporates relevant assessment and intervention skills in the delivery of nursing care
• 2.* Communicates with patients, colleagues and management in accurate, considerate and timely manner (written, verbal and electronic)
• 3.* Employs critical thinking skills to achieve outcomes and solve problems
• 4.* Engages in caring relationships that integrate the influence of the human experience of health, illness and/or healing, and relationship based care.
• 5.* Manages assignment and material resources effectively
• 6.* Applies leadership skills consistent with role and experience
• 7.* Incorporates teaching in the delivery of care to promote health and prevent disease and documents when appropriate
• 8.* Integrates relevant knowledge and evidence‑based practice (utilizing teamwork and collaboration).
• 9.* Provides specialty‑specific care as outlined by Maimonides Medical Center

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing school required; BSN preferred
• Current NYS licensure as RN required
• Current BLS certification required

Experience: Professional nursing experience appropriate to the service and the position

Pay Range

USD $118,370.00 - USD $118,370.00 /Yr.
